For Parents/Caregivers
At the Charles River Center, we provide a multitude of resources for families who are caring for a loved one with a developmental disability. If you are interested in any of the programs below or would like more information, please contact our Family Support Program Director, Renee
Scherer at 781-972-1079 or reneescherer@charlesrivercenter.org.
Parents Night/Afternoon Out
Understanding that parents need a break and some time to themselves, Family Support invites families to drop off all their children for a fun night or afternoon of music, arts and crafts, cooking and games in Natick and in Needham. Held seasonally.
Workshops/Educational Seminars
Educational seminars are held throughout the year during the evening at our Natick and Needham sites and include such topics as:
- IPAD applications
- Guardianship
- Financial planning
- Friendship training
- And more!
Visit our Facebook page for the latest event listings.
